Cool stuff at MCQS

This is a quick update with photos of the classes coming right up here at the shop and some fun non-quilting info!

This Saturday 10/3 we're holding a MCQS-University on bag accessories and closures from 10:30-11:30. MCQS-U classes are only $5 and you learn everything you need to finish those little extras. Immediately following at 12:30 is our Slouchy Sack class which includes a nifty zipper (which we'll demo in the U session). Here's the bag:

Bag pattern includes two sizes (we'll have a sample of each) and a front pocket that goes on forever! Still some room in class so sign up today!

Our next weekday class starts on Wednesday 10/14 at 1:00and is a fascinating mix of curved piecing and large scale prints. Never fear - still accessible to you beginners. Moon Dance is a 3-session class - here's the pic:

Our instructor has offered time this coming Wednesday 10/7 to help folks choose their fabrics if needed. Meet at 1PM at the shop.

And last but not least, check out this awesome bracelet I received yesterday! One of our snow-bird customers had one on two weeks ago while I was cutting her fabrics and I stopped mid-cut to talk about it! Turns out she makes them - including making the beads! I'm including her name and email address so you can contact her directly to order one for yourself!

Tell her you saw the bracelet on our blog!
Stay tuned early next week for our next Market Blog Candy challenge. We'll post our experiences each day of our trip to International Quilt Market in Houston and will have a fun contest for those of you who follow along. Check back next week!
